Mattias (1986) graduated from the Toneelacademie Maastricht. For his role in his graduation performance PLUKT ONS, he was honored with the Kemn-A-ward.

Following this, he took on wonderful roles in RICHARD III (Orkater), THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GREY, and LEO AND LENA (nominated for the Zilveren Krekel).

Mattias, along with Reinout Scholten van Aschat and Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen, co-founded the collective Lars Doberman. After their successful first production EEN BEBOP VERHAAL, their second production DE FAMILIE MANSØN was also well-received.

Mattias can be seen in a prominent role in EEN GOED LEVEN MET EEN GELUKKIG EINDE and has appeared in the series BRUSSEL and LOST LUGGAGE.

In 2024 the first play Mattias directed called ORCHESTRA SOLEDAD premiered at Orkater.
