Randa Peters (1992) is a scriptwriter, playwright, author, poet and essayist. She graduated as a screenwriter from the Dutch Film Academy in 2017 and has since been active mainly in the film and theatre world.

As a screenwriter, she collaborated on the series BAD INFLUENCER, MEES KEES and SIHAME among others. For theatre, she wrote the plays SPRING AWAKENINGS (Huis Oostpool), FILTER (Huis Oostpool and Sonnevanck) and EENZAME MEISJES (Frascati).

She also wrote articles for Eye Film Magazine, Vers Magazine and recited poems at poetry evenings on several occasions.Randa Peters is a versatile writer. In her work she likes to show the unpolished side of life, which is often as hilarious as it is tragic; a comic note is never far away. Characteristic of her work are her sharp and rich dialogues taken from life.

In 2026 the televisionfilm MET OPRECHTE DEELNEMING aired, which was written by Randa.

Currently, Randa is working with director Victoria Warmerdam on her first feature film: EEN SOORT VAN LIEFDE, a comical ensemble film full of love, but without romance.
