Reinout (1989) gained widespread recognition with his role in the film DE HEINEKEN ONTVOERING, for which he won a Golden Calf for Best Actor. He took on the lead role in the film BEYOND SLEEP, based on the novel Nooit meer slapen by Willem Frederik Hermans. BEYOND SLEEP served as the opening film at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

In the same year, Reinout was selected for the prestigious European Shooting Stars event organized by European Film Promotion (EFP) during the Berlin International Film Festival. Achieving more international success, Reinout starred in the film CAPRI-REVOLUTION which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. He later appeared in NOCTURNE, earning nominations for two Golden Calves.

Reinout was a member of the core ensemble of the National Theatre for several years and he’s a part of the music theater collective Lars Doberman. He won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Milan Film Festival for his role in ZEE VAN TIJD, which also opened the Dutch Film Festival in 2022.

Reinout featured in the series OXEN, set for international release, and starred in the film BIJT. More recently he starred in the feature film ALPHA and the series PRO DEO.
