Sophie Höppener (1991) graduated from the Amsterdam Academy of Theater and Cabaret in 2014.

She subsequently appeared in several productions by the National Theater and Orkater, including DE DOOD VAN BENNY SIMONS by Shady El-hamus, which was selected for the Dutch Theater Festival. At Theater Rotterdam, she works with Erik Whien; following the revival of SLACHTHUIS VIJF, she will appear in the 2027 production of MARY-JANE.

She is also a singer; after graduating, she performed in SOLDAAT VAN ORANJE DE MUSICAL, BAAAAAA, and WENDY PAN by Circus Treurdier.

On TV, she has appeared in shows such as GOEDENAVOND DAMES EN HEREN, ANNE+, DAG EN NACHT, and the Telefilm KING OF THE ROAD.

She will soon be seen on NPO in the first Dutch costume drama, GRAND HOTEL AAN ZEE, and in Micha Kamp’s new feature film, HANNEKE EN FIET.
