After studying Law at the UU, Vincent moved to Denmark to study at The European Film College. His Danish graduation film DISINGENUOUS was selected for the BUSTER Copenhagen International Film Festival. Immediately afterwards, Vincent was accepted at the Netherlands Film Academy and completed it in 2018.

During his education he experimented with both poetic narrative forms in WINDKRACHT and a raw documentary style in JUNKSKE. The latter was also selected for the Go Short International Short Film Festival Nijmegen. Outside of school he made commercials for Woodpizza, among others. For his internship he assisted both Yim Brakel for the short film DAGDROMEN and Ivo van Aart for ONE OF THE BOYS.

In 2019, the successful short film MARLON BRANDO, written and directed by Vincent, has been selected for the Cannes film festival, giving it a world stage. In addition to the selection for Semaine de la Critique Cannes 2020, Marlon Brando can now also join the selection of the Toronto International Film Festival 2020 and the Dutch Film Festival 2020.

His mid-length film HEARTBEATS, a collaboration with VPRO, NTR, and BNNVARA, gave the opportunity for Laura Bakker to win a Golden Calf for Best Actress in a Short Film. In 2025 he wrote and directed the telefilm EN IEMAND ANDERS
